Laci woke me up this morning by stroking my face and hair, followed by an Eskimow Kiss. What a sweety! Who knew our nightly ritual would become my morning greeting?
I've debated whether or not to share this one, but I figure it happens in every family. The other night we were kneeling for family prayer when someone tooted. Jacob, 14-month-old Jacob, laughed, took out his pacifier and mimicked the sound with his mouth!
A few days ago -
Laci: "Mom, can you turn on Princess Music?"
Me: "What is Princess Music?"
Laci: "Tom and Jerry."
Me: "You want to watch Tom and Jerry?"
Laci: "No. Tom and Jerry. I dance to Princess Music."
Me: "I don't know what Princess Music is, Lace. I'm sorry."
Later that day.. I turned on classical music. Laci ran over so excited: "Mom, Princess Music!"
Yesterday at breakfast -
Laci: "I want to read scriptures again." (We had just finished reading scriptures.)
Me: "You do?"
Laci: "Yeah!"
Me: "Why?" (just curious to see what her answer would be...)
Laci: "good choices...Jesus Christ"
Me: "Reading scriptures helps you make good choices, and you get to learn about Jesus Christ?"
Laci: "Yeah. Jesus died."
Me: "We just read about that, huh?"
Laci: "Yeah. Come back to Earth."
Me: "He came back to Earth? Who did He visit?"
Laci: "Heavenly Father...Nephites."

Aww. the last one made me cry.
How cute! Just confirms that they do listen!! ;)
I can't believe how big Laci is! Last time I saw her she was a tiny little thing! She is a cutie. I love that age, and can't wait for my kiddos to talk more!
Just a side note, cause I don't think I have thanked you or your mom yet! Please tell her thanks for me. I came home that night after talking with her and really took what she told me to heart. I read, studied, prayed, and can't even begin to tell how my heart changed! Here I am with my twins! I don't think I would have made the decisions I made if it had not been for you taking me to meet your mom. Its kind of a long story, but my life is SO full and I love it!! So thanks for listenig to the spirit. I truly learned to TRUST Heavenly Father!

Oh, and I was going to ask how you know Dallas and Natalie Turley... I noticed their blog on your side bar. Natalie is a sister to a really good friend of mine. Anyway, it's fun to see how much we really are connected :)
Hi Tiffini!
I don't know if you remember me but we were in the ASU east ward together for a few months, and I went to Gilbert High as well. Your kids are so adorable! I think the last time I saw you was when Lacy was a baby, I can't believe how big she is now!
My in-laws actually live in Eagle Mountain as well. It is very pretty up there, I'm glad you love your new home!
Hope all is well!
